A Sense of Peace: the Fondovalle exhibition experience at Cersaie 2023
Naturally-inspired textures, finishes and colours were given new life on large-size tiles that dialogued together to form tasteful creative combinations. These large sizes are also the perfect basis for creating innovative, constantly fresh furnishing solutions such as tables, bathroom countertops.
The Woodblock collection interprets the beauty of varieties of oak wood with the aid of the new 3D Texture technologies, which produce a deeply tactile finish by generating a three-dimensional effect on the surface, while the Background series is inspired by an almost monochrome limestone. Green Denis, Breccia Van Gogh with Glossy surface and Elegant White with Natural surface are the 3 new colours added to the Infinito 2.0 marble-effect range. In addition, the Dream series now includes two new decor tiles with exceptionally high visual impact, while the 2.OUT offering for outdoors is completed with new sizes and articles. The updates to the Fondovalle assortment are completed by the 4 new marble-effect shades in the Infinito 2.0 series and the 9 innovative colours of the Stone Lab stone-effect collection, which extend the MyTop project of slabs in the large 163×324 cm size with thickness of 12 and 20 mm.
New furnishings for innovative, stylish solutions are provided by the update to the Shape range, the Ceramica Fondovalle furniture line, developed to bring personality to every room with solutions which match its coverings, now also featuring the ALL-OVER technology, exclusively licensed to Fondovalle with patent pending. Specifically developed for covering furnishings, ALL-OVER is a technique that also allows the texture of the ceramic slab to be reproduced on the edge, digitally reprinted on the selected portion of the surface in a way that is very faithful to the original graphic.
With major innovations to the product range and impressive numbers of visitors to the stand, Ceramica Fondovalle can look back with satisfaction at Cersaie 2023 which attracted almost 100 thousand visitors to the exhibition centre, more than 47,000 of them from abroad (+8.8% compared to 2022).

Fuorisalone 2023: Ceramica Fondovalle materials in new design forms
The exhibition stand at the Alchemy Gallery conveyed all the versatility offered by Fondovalle and its latest ceramic range, which is perfect for creating sophisticated designs with a contemporary mood.
Featuring a more slender, subtle design, accompanied by new shapes and accessories – such as furniture and floor-flush shower trays, Shape is the Fondovalle collection designed to allows users to personalise their projects by coordinating with the tiling or choosing solutions offering exciting contrasts of materials and shapes. Once you have chosen the most suitable model and measurements for your spaces, the products in the Shape line can be customised to suit your specific style and design needs. Beauty and practicality are key features of this rich collection of washbasins, shower bases, and countertops, all available in a range of shapes and sizes that combine functionality, looks, and low maintenance.
Inside the exhibition space, the versatility of Fondovalle ceramics reaches its maximum expression in a selection of furnishing accessories presented to visitors as part of the Fuorisalone 2023 events. In addition to the washbasins (available in range of sizes and models) and the shower trays, the presentation of the new Shape line is topped with a selection of achingly contemporary tables. The PLANA EXT table in particular offers a fusion of exclusive design and advanced technology. Featuring a sophisticated mechanism, the large 90×180 cm top can be extended by up to 90 cm, with seamless veining and perfect linearity.

The story of Coverings 2023, told by Ceramica Fondovalle
The exhibition space has been transformed into a sophisticated home where the MyTop collection slabs on the walls guided visitors along a journey of colour, made up of endless options with bold, contemporary appeal. The central table, which was made using MyTop Infinito 2.0 in the Calacatta Viola colour option, offered visitors a meeting and a focal point along this design-led journey.
The display was enthusiastically received by the international public, who particularly appreciated the chance to see and feel our innovative solutions first-hand. Coverings 2023 was the event chosen by Fondovalle to focus visitors’ attention on the latest additions to the MyTop range (expanded to include new textures), as well as to offer a preview of the Royal Travertino collection and the new Real Matt finish.
Texture options such as Calacatta Viola, Agate Crystal Jade, Agate Crystal Lace, Agate Blue Velvet, and Breccia Van Gogh from the Infinito 2.0 series and Venus from the Planeto collection are now included in the assortment of oversize slabs offered in the MyTop range. These new entries have opened up opportunities for the application of these materials within a wide range of uses in architecture and interior design projects, such as for tops, washbasins, and items of furniture. These are just some of the latest innovations in the MyTop range though, which will be even further expanded with new MyTop StoneLab articles (all also in the new Real Matt finish), heralded by the presence of the 12 mm Travertino.
For the Fondovalle range, the Royal Travertino floor and wall collection – available in three shades in two different patterns, Vein and Cross – evokes the Italian landscape and the warm tones of Tivoli, where nature and classical architecture come together, stirring up primordial feelings and creating an aesthetic steeped in history.
Real Matt technology, which is one of the most important features of this collection, lends porcelain stoneware a highly matt finish (much more so than the unworked finish) and absolutely no reflections or gloss.

Espresso Lab: the latest products from Fondovalle blend nature, culture and tradition
A visual concept appreciated not only by the large number of visitors who flocked to the Fondovalle stand throughout the week but also by ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (Association of Industrial Design), which assigned the Espresso Lab the ADI Booth Design Award, created to highlight the exhibition stands that promote companies’ product and brand value within the Cersaie show.
Presenting Homescape, Brit, 2.OUT and the additions to the Komi, Dream, Infinito 2.0 and MyTop ranges, the space was conceived to express tradition, passion and the ability to select the finest raw materials, to be processed with skill to achieve unique products and settings. The more and more refined and sophisticated mixes investigate all contemporary expressions of matter through textures, finishes, and colours, of natural inspiration, blended with an aesthetic tailored to new demands and lifestyles. Small and large sizes dialogue together to form creative combinations that generate reassuring impressions of peace and naturalness. What’s more, large sizes are the perfect basis for creating innovative, constantly fresh furnishing solutions such as tables, bathroom countertops, and even a table football board!

Everything is ready for the new edition of Cersaie, the international event dedicated to the world of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings, to be held at the Bologna Fiere Exhibition Centre from 26 to 30 September 2022. An occasion of fundamental importance for Ceramica Fondovalle, which excels itself in innovation and creativity at this year’s show.

Fuorisalone 2022: Ceramica Fondovalle’s design in the Hybrid Restaurant exhibition
Innovation, audacity and an avant-garde look: these are the concepts underlying the participation of Ceramica Fondovalle at Fuorisalone 2022. Through the partnership with architect Simone Micheli, porcelain stoneware slabs by the Torre Maina company provide the floor coverings of three thematic platforms that recount a new dimension in catering and hospitality within the exhibition context of the “Hybrid Restaurant”, organised for the 2022 edition of Fuorisalone.
On platforms 5, 9 and 11, the Fondovalle Infinito 2.0 collection has been chosen to provide elegant floor coverings for the structures by means of its White Beauty, Sahara Noir and Statuario shades. Inspired by a selection of the finest natural marbles, transformed into stunning porcelain stoneware surfaces with enhanced technical and aesthetic qualities, Infinito 2.0 provides a continuity of shades, tasteful vein patterns and glossy and matt finishes that transform marble as we know it into a versatile product capable of meeting the latest demands of contemporary architecture.

Fondovalle announces a highly successful Coverings 2022
After the presentation of important new products, and a turnout of visitors to the stand similar to pre-pandemic editions, Ceramica Fondovalle returned to its Torre Maina headquarters declaring an extremely positive response from the international audience.
Coverings 2022 is the venue that Fondovalle chose to focus the public’s attention on the exclusive preview of the new Upper collection, inspired by the Canaries landscapes, and to preview the expansion of the MyTop range, the selection of large slabs with thicknesses of 12 and 20 millimetres available in furniture complements and in total-look projects.
The new Upper series is presented in four tones, produced with the exclusive Matt&Deep production technology applied in the mixtures that compose the Fondovalle porcelain stoneware: a technological solution that makes the surface extremely opaque, at the same time enhancing the three-dimensional appearance of the graphics and structures.
The nuances of Blue Roma, River Jade and Amazzonite of the Infinito 2.0 series and Basaltina and Atlantic of the Stone Lab series instead form part of the MyTop large slabs selection, expanding the spectrum of possible applications to a wide variety of uses for architectural and interior design projects involving surfaces, sinks and furniture.
