An ambitious project and a sentimental choice (akin to love), the Maggie La Capricciosa pizzeria owes its name to its owners' passion for pizza. Celebrating their love of traditional Neapolitan pizzas, the pizzeria has taken the name of the classic of classics, the Margherita, and invented a pet name for it, Maggie.

Located in San Vitaliano, just outside the Neapolitan town of Noto, Maggie La Capricciosa was created using the experience and flair of Naples-based firm Studio Arch.O. The artistic aim was to craft a vintage-feel setting with contemporary design accents. But the restaurant's real architectural strength and style lie in the flooring, made by Ceramica Fondovalle, with the Shards series used throughout the entire venue, including the toilets. Studio Arch.O chose the Large solution, as it appreciated the modern slant on Terazzo tiling offered by the use of larger than usual particles embedded in the material.
